HEY! I’M CAROLINE!
I’ve always been a lover of all things creative. As a kid, I treasured the idea of making beautiful things, often to the point of waiting for another day to actually do so.
It’s a re-emerging, lifelong theme that I say I want to create for the joy of it (because #fullyalive) ... and it’s true ... I DO! But then life happens. And I don’t.
I save the stickers for another day. I end up waiting to create until an anticipated and assumed “tomorrow.”
That’s not how I want to live. Now, I’m trying to live differently.
Here’s the truth I’ve learned:
Creation doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to feel lively. And I can no longer be “too busy” for things that fuel my soul. It’s not fair to say that I’m not creating because my life is in the way when creating stuff GIVES ME LIFE! Right??!
I’m on a mission to practice creativity to be made new and welcome everyone into the “creativity club.”
